Nishit - Patira
Nishit Patira
Nishit Patira is a meritorious student with a very good track record from low middle class family. He secured 93% in 10th class and 91% in 12th class and doing great job in engineering also. He is very active in extra curricular activities also. Nishit''s father is diabetic patient and retired from services recently which is causing financial problems to the family. On top of it, Nishit''s brother is now pursuing his MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad which is really overburdening his family. Nishit is now pursuing his B.Tech from BITS Pilani , KK Birla Goa campus in Electronics and Instrumentation discipline. Spandana Foundation issued Rs 20,000 ($330) per semester (i.e. for 6 months) scholarship to Nishit based on our Pratibha team evaluation.

Konduru Divya
Divya is a meritorious but poor student from a remote village Koneti Raju Palem in Nellore district. She secured A2 grade with 522 marks in 10th class. She completed 10th class from a government zilla parishat high school near by her village. She is a single parent child, her mother expired recently. She is studying intermediate in Narayana residential college in Nellore town. Spandana Foundation issued Rs10,000 ($165) scholarship to Divya based on our Pratibha team evaluation.

Neelamohan Ramalingam
Ramalingam Neelamohan
Neelamohan Ramalingam is doing his Ph.D from University of Madras, Chennai, Tamilnadu, India. He is a post graduate in Zoology from University of Madras, right now at the verge of completion of his Ph.D from the Department of Endocrinology, University of Madras, Taramani campus, Chennai. He did his research in cancer biology of thyroid gland and the title of his Ph.D thesis is "Molecular mechanism underlying estradiol mediated transformation of papillary thyroid carcinoma into its metastatic phenotype". Neelamohan is basically from a poor rural family and has got sheer interest to work hard and come up in life. His father is working as agriculture daily labor. Even though he is from a poor family his friends and teachers not only encouraged for higher studies but also financially helped him to reach this stage. By policy, Spandana Foundation very rarely grants scholarship to post graduates. Spandana considered Neelamohan''s case as an exception after carefully evaluating his academic, family background and most importantly this is going to be a one time scholarship. Spandana Foundation issued Rs 30,000 ($500) scholarship to Neelamohan Ramalingam based on our Pratibha team evaluation.
